Update:  12-16-10, 1040 hours - Voice mail services have been restored.  Voice messages are once again being delivered into the Outlook inbox and functionality is restored.  Please contact the Help Desk at Help@vmi.edu or call 7643 if you have any further questions.

Update:  12-15-10, 1055 hours - Replacement parts for the voice mail server are to arrive this morning.  IT will work to repair the failed server and it is anticipated that voice mail services will be restored late today.  Voice mail data such as your pre-recorded greeting and departmental answering messages will be restored.  All data will be recoverable and no voice messages prior to the server failure will be lost.

Update:  12-14-10, 1145 hours - Outlook Web Access-this problem has been resolved.  There was an issue with a security certificate on one of the servers hosting OWA.  A server hardware failure is the cause of the interruption with voice mail services.  IT staff are continuing to work with the supporting vendor.  Replacement parts are being shipped and it is anticipated that these services will be restored Wednesday afternoon, 15 December.

Voice Mail and Outlook Web Access are currently down because of a hardware failure.  During this service interruption, please do not leave voice mails.  Use email in lieu of voice messages.  Network technicians are working with our outside vendors to resolve this problem.
