Group Visits

VMI encourages Guidance Counselors, JROTC Unit Commanders, and Scout Leaders and their college-bound high school students to visit VMI. We would like you to see the unique educational opportunities that await your students here.

Visits generally include a tour of post, admissions overview, and optional lunch ( $8.00 ). Parades are generally scheduled for Friday afternoon and are a favorite of our visitors.

If you visit on a day when VMI is scheduled to play a home NCAA-sponsored athletic event, you will be able to attend the game for a minimal fee (football/basketball). We hope you will take this opportunity to spend some time with the corps of cadets and get a first-hand account of what makes VMI "No ordinary college".
