Speaker will be Col. Floyd Duncan, head of VMI’s Department of Economics and Business. Duncan holds the John W. and Jane M. Roberts Institute Professorship in Free Enterprise Economics. His areas of interest include public finance, macroeconomics, and history of thought. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he has written a novel about the consequences of the Vietnam War, For the Glory of France (2002). He will retire this spring after 35 years at VMI.
