2012-10-05, 1100 hours - New Icon on Your Desktop

Information Technology has implemented a new service that will place a new icon on your desktop to provide instant access to your VMI account password information.  When you log on Monday, 8 October to your desktop the icon "My Password Information" will appear (see icon below):

Double clicking the icon will display your password information.  The date your password expires and the number of days until expiration will be displayed as follows:

This feature is particularly useful if you plan to be away and would like to reset your password before leaving.  If you have any questions, please contact the Help Desk at Help@vmi.edu or call 7643.
