An intense fan base, a group of leaders within the Corps, and some of the toughest grapplers in the country can only describe what goes on in the VMI Wrestling program.
Put all of these together under one roof and you have the most exhilarating experience in college wrestling.
No wonder for years fans have coined the phrase “The Thunderdome” when referring to home meets in Cocke Hall!
Members of the wrestling squad have also developed quite the reputation in the Corps, as three members of the 2011-12 squad hold rank in the Corps of Cadets.
