Faculty Position - Assistant Professor of Chinese

Virginia Military Institute's Department of Modern Languages invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Chinese beginning August, 2014. The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Chinese, specialization open. A commitment to excellence in teaching, research, student mentoring is essential. Native or near-native command of Chinese and English expected.
Responsibilities include teaching six courses yearly at all levels of language, literature and culture in VMI’s new Chinese program.
